What’s your favorite family activity in the Hinsdale, Western Springs, La Grange, Clarendon Hills Area?
I would say our favorite family activity is walking/biking/scootering to either downtown Hinsdale or Clarendon Hills (we live right in between the two!) and enjoying coffee and breakfast!

How long have you lived in the Hinsdale/WS/La Grange/CH Area? What made you decide to live here?
We moved here in December 2014 from the River West area of downtown Chicago. We settled in this area because my husband grew up here and we wanted to be close to family. AND Hinsdale is still in very close proximity to Downtown Chicago!
Where’s your favorite place to eat and/or shop in the Hinsdale/WS/La Grange/CH Area?
Our favorite place to eat with kids is not so original but oh so good, Fuller House! Our favorite place to eat without the kids is Nabuki. My favorite place for coffee: La Fortuna and my favorite place to buy wine: SavWay- because somedays I go straight from one to the other ;). My favorite shops in town are also former stores that I worked with for 10+ years: Alixandra Collections (I still remember being in her FIRST Hinsdale store!) and Vintage Charm.
What’s one thing people would be surprised to know about you?
I worked in the Fashion Industry for nearly 18 years! I started out as a boutique buyer then moved into wholesale clothing/accessories via an independent Chicago showroom and then onto eCommerce Luxury Resale.

My mom tribe and general neighborhood gang.
Are you involved in a business venture, a local organization, a creative endeavor, or in the corporate world? Please share!
I started up the Bomb Moms Instagram handle (currently 3 active and more in the works!) in April 2020 as a way to lift the spirits of all moms trying to parent and school during a global pandemic. Any little bit of optimism and appreciation, even in the form of a completely made up award, was loved by all moms. It seems the pandemic isn’t leaving us soon and the idea of uplifting a community should never leave us so I plan to keep it going!
How has this community been instrumental in getting you to where you are now?
Without this community I would have had no idea where to send my kids to preschool; what pediatric practice to send my kids to; what gym to join, and quit, and join and quit again! And so many more things, too many to list but I suppose that might be part of the reason I decided to award moms of this community, they’ve all helped me in one way or another.
