What’s your favorite family activity in the Hinsdale, Western Springs, La Grange, Clarendon Hills Area?
Our favorite activity in Clarendon Hills is the Christmas walk in December.
How many children do you have and what are their age(s)?
We have three children. Sydney (14), Hannah (12) and Miles (9)
How long have you lived in the Hinsdale/WS/La Grange/CH Area? What made you decide to live here?
We have lived in Clarendon Hills for 9 years. We chose Clarendon Hills because of the small town atmosphere. My husband is from a town of 2500 people and I’m from Naperville so it was a happy medium.
Where’s your favorite place to eat and/or shop in the Hinsdale/WS/La Grange/CH Area?
My favorite place to eat is Nabuki in Hinsdale. If I’m shopping in the area, I love Vintage Charm.
What’s one thing people would be surprised to know about you?
I was a competitive cheer coach for a number of years.
Anyone special you’d like to thank for helping you through parenthood?
I am so lucky to be surrounded by so many wonderful families. If I’m ever in a bind there are so many people I feel comfortable reaching out to for help.

I run Level Up Academy in Westmont with another local mom, Kerry McLaurin. Level Up Academy is an enrichment center for grades Pre-K-6th grade. We also run kindergarten enrichment programs and tutoring during the school year and our famous back to school boot camps in the summer. We just finished our first year as a small business (after running our business out of our homes) and are looking forward to many more in the community.
How has this community been instrumental in getting you to where you are now?
We started our summer back to school bootcamps out of nearby libraries and churches 6 years ago. Then in June 2020 we moved the boot camps and classes to our homes . We realized it was time for us to open up a small business due to the support we received from our clients in Clarendon Hills, Hinsdale, Burr Ridge, Western Springs and LaGrange. We have grown our business up until now strictly by word of mouth. This community has been extremely supportive and we have families that we have now worked with for a number of years.
