What’s your favorite family activity in the Hinsdale, Western Springs, La Grange, Clarendon Hills Area?
Year round family walks in Fullersburg Woods are always special. But my absolute favorite event is the annual Hinsdale Christmas Walk. Each December, the village organizes a fun, family event with rides for the kids, a tree lighting, holiday carolers, and giveaways/special events at the downtown stores. It’s a magical night. It’s been a village tradition for over 50 years.
How many children do you have and what are their age(s)?
One daughter, Nadia – 12 years old
How long have you lived in the Hinsdale/WS/La Grange/CH Area? What made you decide to live here?
I grew up in the area, attending Hinsdale Central! I was excited to return back to Hinsdale after the birth of my daughter. It’s a special town with wonderful schools, a great community, and amazing proximity to downtown Chicago.
Where’s your favorite place to eat and/or shop in the Hinsdale/WS/La Grange/CH Area?
Vistro Prime is my go-to restaurant in town. The new concept is even better than the original!
What’s one thing people would be surprised to know about you?
Most people find it interesting that I was a cheerleader at Hinsdale Central. Go Red Devils!
Anyone special you’d like to thank for helping you through parenthood?
There are so many amazing people in my life that have helped guide me thru parenthood. Countless friends and family – as they say, it takes a village. It’s difficult to pick just one.

How has this community been instrumental in getting you to where you are now?
I am so appreciative of the business and support of the Hinsdale community. I try to give back as much as possible, having been Co-President of the Madison Elementary School PTO, and chairing in many local non-for profit organizations. Hinsdale Junior Woman’s Club is one of my favorite local organizations that I have been heavily involved in over the years.
