Have you been to the Family Aquatic Center at the Oak Brook Park District? We are BIG fans and find it to be the perfect activity on these dreary winter days. After a recent instagram story I had some questions so I thought I’d share more information here!

“Oak Brook Park District’s indoor Family Aquatic Center offers many special features for the entire family!
The facility offers ample space for a wide variety of adult exercise classes, tot programs, and youth swim lessons. The lap pool features six, 25-yard lanes for lap swimming, Fluid Running, water leagues, Stars Swim Team, and Masters Swim Team. Relaxing in the 10-person whirlpool is an excellent way to end your workout. The Family Aquatic Center is the perfect place to exercise, relax and play. The best part – there’s never a rainy day! Our aquatic center is open year round and in all weather, so there’s no end to summer-style fun.”
My kids are HUGE fans of the zero depth entry leisure pool. Not only does it include an awesome play structure it also has a super fun vortex pool and water slide (Water slide hours are Fri: 4-9pm and Sat/Sun: 12-5pm). Best of all, the water is WARM.
Not only is the pool amazing, the locker room situation is totally ideal. Oak Brook Family Aquatic Center features a family inclusive changing room. That’s right, you can all go in together and get changed, even shower in a private shower space when you finish. Truly makes swimming that much easier.
Free: Any membership that includes Aquatics as part of the membership. Children under age 3 are also free.
